Doctor's FAQ

Q1: On how many workstation I can install C-MagSys?
Every package comes with software installation for 3 PCs. You can request to install more than that, but we will charge additional fee for every each PC. Re-installation on the same PC for more than 3 times will be charged too. This software cannot be copied or or installed to other clinics without consent of S-Core IT Solutions Sdn Bhd. C-MagSys is protected software product under Malaysian Law.

Q2: I have nothing in my clinic to run the software.What I must prepare to get the application installed and running?
You will need at least 2 PC or laptop, a router, networking cabling and a printer. You must also subscribe broadband internet connection later on. We can also provide you all these equipment and set up the networking. If you want to use Q-MagSys, separate equipment is required.

Q3: How about viruses and data loss?
It is possible to happen and not only for this application. To minimize the impact, you need to run a data backup procedure which will backup your data at the end of the day. A built in function in C-MagSys will assist you to perform this backup.

Q4: Can I ask for customization or changes?
Yes, but we will decide if this can be done or not. If the modification/new function only suits your need, we will charge extra fee for it, if we agree to do the changes. If the changes is applicable for all clinics, we will do it for free.

Q5: How about my existing patient records?
You have two options to handle this. First, transfer all records from card to C-MagSys. And clear the file cabinet. But, this is not practical and requires a lot of extra work.
Second option is to register only those coming to your clinic after you have installed C-MagSys. This will include new patient and your existing patient. For your existing patient, transfer their information from card to C-MagSys. And keep this card aside - to be housekeep later. Keep doing this for a period of time, let say 6 months. After that you can decide whether to housekeep all the cards and clear the file cabinet. Your regular patient or those within your vicinity most probably will visit your clinic at least once in this 6 months period.

Q6: I have an existing clinic software running at my clinic. Can the data be transferred to C-MagSys?
Yes or no. We have to study the structure of the data first before we can make decision. If the work is require relatively small effort, we will do it for free. Otherwise, we will charge you a minimum amount for the work done - if we agree to do the data migration.

Q7: Is my clinic data safe? Do you electronically transfer the clinic data?
Unless this is requested by you which normally for your own reporting or maintenance work (and we will make sure you are aware of it), we WILL NOT transfer or copy your clinic data - medical or operational data. Data that automatically transferred is only related to the advertisement such as how many time an advertisemment is displayed, how many users click on it, the expriy date and the company which own the advertisement. We will also perform automatic download of advertisement files from our server on daily basis. Please rest assurred that we are seriously doing a legal and valid business conduct. We will not do any unethical approach to gain profit like selling your clinic data to any interested parties or so on. And also we really appreciate if you can contact us for further explanation in case you have been informed with the wrong information.

Q8: What kind of support is available?
We will give you free call, e-mail and online support. For on-site support, we will charge you depending on the mileage and problem nature with minimum fee of RM120.00. Software upgrade is also free - you have to download from our website.

Q9: How will you give training?
We will give you free on-site training on the same day of the installation. It will takes around two hours. We will also give you hardcopy manual and the softcopy is always available via the system menu. At any time, when you need us to explain to you on any particular topic, just call our technical support and we can give you further training via online remote desktop - where we can actually show you on your screen as if we were there.

 

Advertiser's FAQ

Q1: Can I request for demo on how the entire process work?
Yes you can. Let us know the details and we will come to your place to show you on how we can promote your business to the doctors.

Q2: Can I subscribe more than one slot at one time?
Yes, you are most welcome to do that. We will offer you a better rate if you order in bulk.

Q3: How much is the rate?
The rate is vary from time to time depending on how many clinics have subscribed to our C-MagSys. The more the viewers the higher the rate is. We, however is open for negotition on the rate especially for bulk order or when we have promotion going on. Kindly contact us for current rate.

Q4: How long the ad banner will be displayed at the clinic?
Each unit of ad banner is displayed for 15 minutes in a day. The ad banner is displayed in rotational manner for each slot. Assumption: Clinic is open for 15 hours in a day (everage). Every appearance will take 30 seconds, which means your ad banner is displayed for 30 times in a day. You may increase the appearance frequency by purchasing additional unit of slot for the same ad banner.

Q5: Can I display my ad banner to multiple slots for one unit I buy?
Sorry, you can't. For each unit you buy you may only choose one slot to display. If you want to display the same ad banner at different slot, you may purchase another unit of slot and use the same ad banner. Hence, if you want your ad banner to appear at all 4 slots, you have to purchase at least 4 units of different slot.

Q6: Can I decide which slot I want to buy?
Yes, that is the principal rule. However, each slot has a maximum number of available units. We will advise you the current available units for each slot when you start to make your order.

Q7: Any different in term of rate for each slot?
Currently, no. We charge the same rate for all slots at the C-MagSys except one slot at Q-MagSys which has dfferent rate. However, we reserved the right to amend this policy at any time decided by us.

Q8: Can I have a trial period?
Yes, you can. However, it is at our discretion to decide the period and slot location.

Q9: Can I use other than flash file type for the ad banner?
Yes, you can. You can also have static JPEG image or text only ad banner.

Q10: Can I include audio for my ad banner?
Sorry, it is not allowed. It will interrupt the system users.

Q11: How about animated text or graphic used for my ad banner?
Yes, it is allowed. But we will decide to approve it or not. We will not approved animation that is considered too distracted for the doctors. Normally, we will allow only one part (text or image) to be animated for each ad banner with considerate animation. Rapid blinking big font size text with striking color is an example of an animation that will NOT be approved.

Q12: How much I have to pay for the ad banner development work?
Currently, it is free for one ad banner per slot. This is applicable only to the ad banner with the quality standard set by us. If you require a higher quality flash ad banner, you have to bare the cost of the development or you may engage any third party consultant to do it for you. However, we reserved the right to amend this policy at any time decided by us.
